Description
Nalgene Tritan bottles are made from Eastman Tritan TM co-polyester and are not only virtually unbreakable but also leakproof and do not make your drink taste of plastic. This material is a replacement for the well established Lexan bottles and is BPA free. They are dishwasher safe (though please make sure the cap does not touch the heating element) and withstand temperatures from -40oC to 100oC. Wide mouth bottles are easier to clean and fill (especially with snow or powdered drink supplements) but tend to slop down your chest when you drink out of them, particularly as you get older. Narrow necked bottles are easier to drink out of but harder to clean and fill. For expedition use go for widemouth ones. The lids are permanently fixed to the bottles. 500ml. 105g.
